This is one of my favorite quotes because it reminds me to be my “Authentic Self”. I’m a woman who remembers who God created me to be and made the decision to walk in that truth! I put aside safe, a successful career, to yield to my destiny. I’m excited, anxious and nervous but I won’t forgive myself if I don’t bet on me and with God…I can’t lose! It doesn’t matter how you try to change, you never get away from who you really are. I am a conduit for creativity, regardless of form, driven by compassion and purpose. No one can be me better and I possess a unique value only I can add. The beauty is that this applies to us all. I truly believe this is why I lead with empathy, from a place of serving while celebrating the successes of others. I understand that each of us is one piece of the puzzle and diversity fosters collaboration, innovation and growth. I respect and I’m grateful to stand on the shoulders of my Great and Fearless people. Had it not been for those before me, I would not be where I am today.
